in 1994 Bill entered a competition in Making Music magazine (remember that?) to get the winning bands logo made into white metal cast brooches- bizarrely, we won...the mag at the time said something like "the 'bizarrely' named AOS3 won due to the strength of the logo design"- kudos to Jef 'Mr Aitch' Hardy for that, then, as he rendered the original design beautifully- so we won 100 of the original brooches, and most are lost like mythical sankarra stones now- however, I still have 1 and have taken molds from it, so these are hand-cast by myself in resin, then have brooch pins added and are sprayed a chrome silver- quite a bit of work, hence the price- but handmade by yours truly...
